We are thrilled to team up with Call On Music and lots of other friends to raise money for Wildfire Relief. The event will begin at 9:00pm ET/6:00pm PT and will benefit the Red Cross Wildfire Relief, California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund, and Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control Emergency Fire Fund (EFF).
Headliners include: Joel Cummins Music of Umphrey’s McGee, Bill and Jilian Nershi of The String Cheese Incident & Vince Herman of Leftover Salmon as well as other performances from national acts such as Cycles, The Higgs, Rumpke Mountain Boys and many, many more.

Wildfires continue to ravage the western half of the United States. Many of these organizations have been on the front lines for months and are at risk of seeing their funds depleted.

With your help, we can ensure that families and emergency responders affected by the wildfires will be adequately taken care of. Please show your support by watching the stream and donating at JamCastNetwork.Com.

Proceeds donated to Call On Music will be evenly distributed to the Red Cross Wildfire Relief, California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund, and Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control Emergency Fire Fund (EFF). More information about these organizations can be found below.

Red Cross Wildfire Relief

Dozens of uncontrolled wildfires are burning across California, forcing tens of thousands of residents to flee their homes. While the threat of additional fires remains high with dry thunderstorms possibly sparking new blazes, hundreds of Red Cross disaster workers have been mobilized to help provide evacuees with safe shelter, food and comfort.

California Community Foundation Wildfire Relief Fund

Over 12,900 firefighters continue to build containment on 23 major fires and lightning complexes in California. Overnight firefighters were able to increase containment numbers on multiple fires. In fact, for the CAL FIRE incidents, more than 1,300 miles of perimeter line have been built. That’s equal to the distance from Sacramento to Kansas City. Yesterday a number of evacuations were downgraded or lifted, and as of today 11,502 people remain evacuated.

Colorado Division of Fire Prevention & Control Emergency Fire Fund (EFF)

The Fund was established in 1967 by a group of Colorado counties that recognized that some wildfires may exceed the counties’ individual resources and ability to manage. Participation is voluntary, and currently, 43 out of 64 counties in Colorado participate. A 9 person committee of 3 County Commissioners, 3 County Sheriffs, 2 Fire Chiefs, and the Director of the Division of Fire Prevention and Control oversees the administration of the Fund. A county’s annual contribution to the Fund is calculated using a formula based on the number of forested acres in the county and the annual property tax valuation. Requests for assistance from the Fund must originate from the County Sheriff and DFPC approval is required. Once accepted, an EFF fire is managed under the direction of DFPC. DFPC assumes management and financial responsibility along with the sheriff.
